AMP ENERGY INTERVIEWS CurT@!n$ pt.1
CurT@!n$ is hands down my favorite Artist right now. No bias in anyway I know him but he is not my oldest friend, not my closest friend, we have no true ties which makes my honest opinion very real. This Man creates music in a way that no one else at the moment in my opinion can or is trying to create. When he speaks I wholeheartedly believe him and makes me believe his lyrics and enjoy them that much more. Granted I do not listen to a lot of music right now anyway but the reason being that artist today (excluding G.O.O.D. music) just bore me. Dope For President!!

RYAN GOSLING, GQ UK
I used to secretly hate this guy because after the Note Book my girl couldn't stop talking about him. I'm over it now and his amazingly tailored double breasted suit landed him in GQ UK most stylish.
He is a great actor and I will absolutely watch this film. I also hated him and Jake Gyllenhaal cause they could grow a full beard in the matter of days and I been struggling with my beard since puberty.

QUELLA VILLA ACCANTO AL CIMITERO BY LELESAV ERI
Wish I could do this in real life, just rewind and either fix things or just observe and learn from.
IAN PALEY: GENUINE AND AUTHENTIC BY HYPE BEAST
Ian Paley of Garb store London. In this video he states that the brand feels "more comfortable in shops in Paris and Japan" due to the execution in making the customer feel at ease but still luxury and playful. Thought that was very important to make a note of.

A BATHING APE FIBERGLASS CHAIR, EAMES DESIGN
I love A Bathing Ape and their multi-color camo print especially, but the chair above is mostly worth talking about because of its history. Hope you saw the video I posted a bit ago about the EAMES legacy in furniture design. The chair above we all are familiar with from waiting rooms, to class rooms, to laundromats and the reason is due to its unique design. Eames designs changed furniture and is still evident today which is why BAPE has paid respect in this manner.

THE STORY OF EAMES FURNITURE
The way the Eames's came in and turned furniture design into something that could be used in any which way, from class rooms to Madison avenue corner offices, and still till this day their design influence can be seen is just amazing and the film above does a good job explaining.

WHEN DID YOU KNOW?
I always think back to scenes in films that relate to life experiences. Good Will Hunting is full of scenes that in my opinion are so authentic, I wish I could do this with books. The way Robin Williams expresses his love for his wife in this film is amazing. When, and how do you know and even worst to loose that love...
This is my favorite scene, not the accents.

MUMFORD and SONS, TICKETs FOR SALE $50.00
A friend of mine is selling 1 ticket for the concert at terminal 5 today and 1 ticket for the concert tomorrow the 16th. She is only asking for $50.00 each ticket which I advised against because I know on Stub Hub she can get like 200 but hey that's just me. If interested just post a comment letting us know which ticket you are looking to purchase, include your email and cell, because you do not have a lot of time. Your info will not show up on the site it will be forwarded to her.
I have never been to a concert and even tho I do enjoy their music I wanted to go only to share the experience with the person who invited me and introduced me to Mumford and Sons music, from the looks of it I will be missing a great concert. Everyone going ENJOY!!

KANYE WEST - BLAME GAME
“I’d rather argue with you than to be with someone else, I took a piss and dismiss it and went and found somebody else, Arguing harvesting the feelings, I’d rather be by my fucking self, Till about 2am and I call back and I hang up and start to blame myself,
Somebody help"
I am an expert at playing the blame game I am a 7 year veteran. I do not think you can write words like these unless you have experienced the situation. I truly believe Kanye is maturing so much and is expressing it through his music. All while still keeping it true to the culture and improving it. This type of music touches people, may it be a relatable experience, or you can imagine going through it, the point is that it touches you or you feel you can touch it and that makes it art.

"IN THE DARK" SKATE DOCUMENTARY, NOT SKATEBOARDING
Nicely done documentary about the other skating which is roller blading. In the 90's this was much bigger then it is now, but skaters like these keep it alive. I stopped when I got to high school just because females became a better past time for me then, looking back on it skating might have been a better choice at least until prom lol. below is my favorite skate film NICKEL and Dimes (1996), set of coarse in NYC.
My skates back in the day...

TIM BARBER FOR OHWOW- UNTITLED PHOTOGRAPHS
Tim Barber is known as much for his curatorial practice as he is as a photographer. The former photo editor of Vice Magazine, and the mind behind the hugely influential on-line gallery tinyvices.com, Barber has established himself as the authority on up-and-coming photographic talent and a true arbiter of taste in the young, global artist community. His legendary and massive tinyvices group shows—featuring hundreds of photographers and artists—have been exhibited around the world and his publishing ventures, including the prolific imprint TV Books and a curated series of five artists monographs published by the Aperture Foundation, have garnered critical acclaim.
All the while Barber has been cultivating his own photographic practice, exhibiting in galleries around the world and shooting for an array influential publications. For this, his first major solo exhibition in the US, Barber will show a collection of work that spans his 15 years behind the lens. Known for astute, beautifully composed observations and arresting, intimate portraits of friends and creative peers, Barber's work conjures vivid, fantastical narratives. With a keen eye for the complex beauty in the seemingly mundane, and a decisive precision, "visual poetry" is a term often used to describe his work. Like a poet, Barber is a shrewd editor, maximizing narrative though sequencing and juxtaposition. OHWOW will release a large scale monograph—Barber's first major solo publication—in conjunction with the exhibition.
Opening reception Saturday, November 13, 2010 8pm.

MUMFORD AND SONS - WHITE BLANK PAGE
Their concert is coming up at Terminal 5 in NYC Nov 15 and 16 but both dates are SOLD OUT! This is my favorite song off their album. Lol... I remember always skipping to this song in the car and getting screamed at for doing so.

Tony Gonzalez will be exhibiting his works which he developed using the Gum Bichromate Print process. Mr. Gonzalez is an amazing Photographer and I have been told he is also an amazing Professor. Yale University, School of Art M.F.A. 1989, The Cooper Union, School of Art B.F.A. 1987, just to mention a part of his amazingly impressive resume. To learn more about Tony Gonzalez visit his site.
WHILE IT LAST PRESENTED BY THE STILL HOUSE
The Still House group took over the 10th floor in an old historic building in Tribeca. The 10th floor belonged to the Department of Transportation, but now has been rented by The Gap, Inc. So before the floor is taken over by a bunch or crew neck and khaki wearing retail execs The Still House exhibited some great works for one night only. My favorite's are the first 2 huge oil paintings that come right after the bathroom in the video above.

BRAVE NEW VOICES "FAVORITE COLOR" BY. JAY DAVIS
This is the best clip I could find but I am sure it will bring out the same emotions because this young poet left everything up on that stage. She is representing NYC!

I don't know about anybody else but it was tough watching this scene growing up. I remember watching this episode and saying to myself I will never let that happen to me, but as you get older you realize that going through hard times make you stronger. Who said you can't learn anything from watching to much T.V.
