SEA IN WILLIAMSBURG BROOKLYN FAILED CITY INSPECTION BADLY

The last time I had a meal at SEA in Brooklyn it was for my friends birthday dinner. After that night I said I would never eat at SEA again and if I did it would be lunch because it is a zoo in that place at night. The Washington street location is a much better dinner option. I am so glad I am a bit full of it sometimes because SEA in Brooklyn has FAILED! the city inspection and it failed in a very nasty way. My friend who works in the restaurant industry told me that they got an F! and that the violations are sickening. Well I looked up SEA on NYC.GOV and.... I took a screen shot so that you all can see the disgusting violations they committed.

“BROKEBACK MOUNTAIN” PREVIEW KITSUNÉ MEN FALL / WINTER COLLECTION 2011

The Maison Kitsuné fall/winter 2011 collection’s style is a tribute to “Brokeback Mountain” by Ang Lee and is inspired by the west american style in the 60′s….For the next fall the designer Masaya Kuroki choose to work on some heavy pieces, a worker style jacket, a cotton check shirt, a woolen hunter jacket, brushed cotton chino, a 6ply shawlcollar cardigan, a lambswool blanket…  A modern and elegant version of outdoor style clothing, with beautifull fabrics from Limonta, Thomas Mason, 100th years celebration HarrisTweed, Kuroki’s denim and a very prestigious knitting from Corgi!

Fit, Fit, Fit the fit is just so amazing and perfect :) it literally makes me smile.

This reminds me of the Guess denim suits from back in the days but again FIT.

THE BKc WRIST ACCOUTREMENTS

The BKc is synonymous with quality. From their garments to these great wrist beads even to the way they share everything with their public. These editorial shots are amazing and with them The BKc set an example that no matter the size of the project the outcome should always be grander then when it started and done right. I wonder if Colin shot these if he did it would not surprise me. Full story at The BKc

My Favorite shot because of her elegant style and attractive silhouette.

SHAKEDOWN A FEATURE LENGTH DOCUMENTARY FILM

Lets make it rain on this documentary...
About This Project:

The films structure employs the cycle of money exchanged and passed through the world as a metaphor for energy; from costume maker to security guard to patrons to the dancer's children. SHAKEDOWN emphasizes the symbiotic nature of how things work in a system.
The film is anchored in the stories of three women: Ronnie Ron, the creator and emcee of Shakedown, a large butch/stud lesbian and former Jehovah's Witness; Egypt, a single mother, beauty pageant fanatic, and dedicated self - (re)inventor; and Jazmyne, the complicated and sometimes conflicted "Queen" of Shakedown. We go through the process of their labor with them and record what they do, and how they feel about what they are doing.
From a meta-perspective, queer cultural production remains at the fringes of society today. It is largely undocumented, and therefore communities and art forms continuously disappear as stories are forgotten. SHAKEDOWN, is an entirely self-funded project. We need your help to complete the edit of the film, master the sound and score, color correct the images, fly to LA to shoot our final interviews with the dancers and have an amazing premiere in cities across America.

TULSA by Larry Clark in 16mm Film at LUHRING AUGUSTINE GALLERY

After watching KIDS back in 1995 it only enhanced my obsession for films, and after looking into Larry Clark I found his 1971 photobook Tulsa a series of photos of Clark's friends back in Tulsa Oklahoma living life with drug addiction and other issues that Clark is so great at exhibiting. Now he has rediscovered Tulsa in 16mm silent film format and can be screened at Luhring Augustine Gallery.

CAN NOT BELIEVE SHE STILL HAD THIS

Circa 2002

I WANT SOMEONE TO READ THIS TO ME

I’m scared I won’t add up to your expectations. I’m not perfect, I’m not gorgeous, I don’t have the prettiest smile or the most banging body. I’m not going to be cute every second of the day & I’m not always going to look my greatest. I’m not always going to know the right thing to say & the right time to say it. I am very emotional & I do have pretty bad moodswings. I usually over react over dumb little things & cry over nothing. I’m afraid I won’t add up to your ex girlfriend, but I am willing to try my hardest. I get jealous but that only proves that I care enough not to lose you. I make assumptions & I will argue until I get my point across. I’m impatient, insecure & at times, selfish - but I’m trusting you with something that I know you can break. I’m going to trust you with everything I’ve got & put my heart out for everyone to see. I’m going to accept you for the person you are & love you for the person you help me to be. So if you choose to love me, then love me for me - for who I am, for what I hope to become, for the drama that you’re going to have to go through & for the flaws I come with.
