Cornel West will be part of a panel to discuss the book Malcolm X: A Life of Reinvention. The discussion will take place on May 12 at 7pm at the Cuny Graduate center check the site for full info. My friend and I actually contemplated driving down to Princeton just to sit in on one of Mr. West lectures so now we can save gas which is crazy! right now and just take it in at the graduate center, but I still want to sit in a class being taught by him.

KEITH HARING AT GLADSTONE GALLERY

Growing up in the back seat of a car and eventually driving myself up and down the FDR I became very familiar with Keith Haring's work especially the "Crack is Wack" handball court mural. It still amazes me how artist journey through their careers and the work is translated as well through all mediums. Clothing brands have used his art to cover their garments, I even spotted his work in many films the most recent Wall Street Money Never Sleeps. His work is now showing at the Gladstone Gallery don't miss out. Pictures via the OC!!

RESPECT TO ALL MOTHERS EVERY SINGLE DAY

I do not need a day designated to honor and celebrate mother hood. I make it a priority to always Love, Respect, acknowledge, and care for my mother for so many reasons. I have immense respect for all mothers and women in general because you all are unique in the sense that you all can be mothers you all have the privilege of bringing life to the world. Some of you have to bring life to the world and guide that life all on your own, so much Respect to all mothers every single day.
Gave my wonderful Mother this perfume. I have to share a funny story about this, so a friend of mine asked me, So what are you getting your mom for mothers day? I respond- I am going to Agent Provocateur today to get it. Reaction- Ewww! your shopping there for your mom thats disturbing. LOL!!!! I had to make it clear that I was getting my mom Perfume not french Lingerie.
