CROCKET AND JONES NYC

A visit to Crocket and Jones on west 56th street. Since purchasing a pair of Grenson shoes I have become a fan and I am trying to become a devoted handmade British shoe enthusiast. Handmade shoes can be very costly but every gentleman should own a pair and I suggest that they be British. Sophie a good friend of mine and the district Manager for Crocket and Jones in the US gave me a tour of their shop along with a history lesson about the company and stated "these shoes are the best shoes available and it is not up for debate" These shoes are amazing and they start at $575.00 and go up in price but they are absolutely worth it because they are life time shoes if cared for correctly.

SOUL FOR REAL - CANDY RAIN

MIDNIGHT IN PARIS by WOODY ALLEN

Along with Fashion I am a Film student so of coarse I had to go screen Woody Allen's latest Midnight In Paris and ok I love Rachel McAdams what man wouldn't. If you have never seen a Woody Allen film then this may be a good one to start of with and then ease into his great early works but I suggest you brush up on your Art and Literary history or you will not laugh. The film is a bit pretentious but hey its Woody Allen so just be glad it's in color. I enjoyed it but I enjoy most films and I do not suggest you take a date to see this unless you want her or him to think you are really smart or full of it :)
